Detroit Public TV is now Detroit PBS, featuring highly acclaimed locally produced programming as well as beloved shows from PBS. This name change reflects our commitment to the community and our ability to adapt to the changing media landscape.

Our Logo

Our iconic logo reflects our diverse community of viewers, and our letterforms are highly legible. Our logo is made up of the following elements: Detroit Wordmark, the PBS Shield, and PBS Wordmark. These elements cannot be separated.

Logo Versions

There are two versions of our logo, a white logo and a blue logo. They can be used interchangeably. One logo might be used more than the other, depending on the platform and background color or graphic.

The logo .zip file contains files that have been optimized for print (CMYK and PMS) and online (RGB and hex values). For more information see logo guidelines.

Color

Our primary palette consists of PBS Blue, secondary blues, and White, as well as primary and secondary accents that complement our logo. Primary accents (Teal, Yellow, and Coral) are to be used minimally to emphasize important content.

Typography

Typography is a key element used to communicate a unified personality for PBS. Our custom PBS Sans font family is inspired by our logotype. It is human, contemporary, and highly legible.
